IIT Bombay ( Dream of every GATE aspirant)

IIT Bombay was set up in 1958.It was the first IIT to be set up with foreign assistance.  The funds came from UNESCO in roubles from the Soviet Union.  In 1961, the Parliament decreed IITs as 'Institutes of National Importance'. Since then, IIT Bombay has grown from strength to strength to emerge as one of the top technical universities in the world.

IISC Bangalore and IIT Bombay are favorites of candidates because of their academic excellence and placements.

Cut-off scores of IIT Bombay goes very high. Though you can apply for Research Assistant(RA), ( 3 years M. Tech. course), for RA cutoff is bit lower than for Teaching Assistant(TA).We will discuss more about RA and TA in Upcoming Post.So stay connected......
